• Stop using any skin thinners (Vitamin A, glycolic acids, exfoliation) on the brow area 2 weeks before your appointment

• Do not use any waxing or brow shaping for 2 days prior

• Any tinting it at least one week prior to the procedure

• Cosmetic Botox or fillers should be done 4 weeks prior or 4 weeks after

• No consuming alcohol, caffeine or take any blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, Niacin) 48 hours before your procedure, this will cause excess bleeding and may affect your results)

• You may come in with how you normally draw in your brows so I can see what you are used to. This is especially important for clients who desire a specific brow shape. If you are open to suggestions, I can help design a custom brow to personally suit you

• You may experience hypersensitivity and more pain around or during menstrual

• For added comfort please feel free to ask any pharmacist for EMLA which is a numbing solution you can apply before the appointment to make sure you are even more comfortable. Apply it to your brows and cover brows with saran wrap for 60 min before your appointment. You can use the remaining EMLA prior to your touch up appointment (should you need one) This is not necessary however for some nervous clients, it is comforting

• We will not be able to tattoo over any blemishes, sores, and moles in or around the brow area​

AFTER

Aftercare is crucial, it is very important to follow these instructions for the full 10 day healing period to ensure proper healing and color retention. Results will vary for all individuals and we can not guarantee your results

• Use a gentle cleanser (lather it up in your hands) and wash your brows morning and night every day for 7-10 days or until the flaking has stopped

• Make sure the brow area is completely dry after cleaning using a blot towel

• Apply the aftercare ointment provided to your brows morning and night. Use a very small amount to each brow with clean fingers or q-tips

• Do not pick or scratch during the scabbing process

• Avoid using skincare with active ingredients for 2 weeks

• No working out and excessive sweating for 4 days minimum

• No facial, botox, laser or peels for at least 4 weeks

• Avoid direct sunlight/tanning for at least 2 weeks (could cause pigment to heal darker)

• Sleep on clean pillowcase & on your back

• No hair removal until brows are fully healed

• Grow out your brows! If you really need to clean them, REMEMBER less is more

• Absolutely do not trim your brow hair. If you do , allow 3 weeks for them to grow out for the best result; otherwise, you will walk out with staggered brows. Trimming is best done during the shaping procedure

• Avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, AHAs or anything like that before your brow lamination appointment

• Threading is considered the most precise and safest hair removal process as it uses no artificial waxes, chemicals or invasive techniques. It typically involves a single piece of cotton thread which twists and pulls unwanted hair along the skin and lifts it directly from the root.
